More thrifted items today - I love thrifting so much! It has opened so many styles to me that I would not have tried at more expensive prices. It's so much fun sorting through racks of clothing to find that one perfect piece (especially when the price tag says 3$!).

Glitter and Braids

The weather is still bla, but I'm trying to make the best of it. After a relaxing weekend mostly spent at home, I'm getting back into the swing of things, and having some fun playing with my hair.

Autumn Delight

Feeling the first days of fall as the temperatures make their slow decline... which is great for us fasionisitas who love boots, tights, and layers!

Daisies and Dahlias

I found this pretty dress while thrifting with a friend on Labor Day. She originally found it, but put it back, and I wasted no time in nabbing it. I think it probably would have suited my friend better, as she is a blonde, but it's pretty and comfortable.

Casual... Thursday?

Some offices practice casual Friday, but here at Casa Pajamas it's Casual Thursday. (Frankly I think a solid week of drab, grey, rainy weather is finally taking it's toll on me). I thrifted this shirt on my last trip - I really like it, especially the embroidery, but I think it may actually be a maternity top??!! (which I absolutely do NOT need, just so we're clear :) )

So, it kind of looks like I'm throwing an elaborate gang sign, but actually I'm showing the suspicious gather that makes me think this is a maternity shirt:

Blue Morning, Blue Day

Raining like hell outside!!! I'm all rain splattered. I don't wear jeans all that often, but inclement weather necessitated comfort today (and gave me a great excuse to wear one of my favorite hats, and my brand new (new to me anyhow,) 3$ thrifted boots!).

Mr. Not In Pajamas and I went out for a date night tonight at one of our favorite local restaurants. We ate waaaay too much food, but it was so good. I found this gorgeous dress at the thrift store, and was so excited to wear it tonight. Too bad it's been rainy all day, and so my hair is a frizzy mess.

New Booties

I have been loving all the little ankle booties coming out for fall... so much so that I nabbed four pairs of them yesterday! Here is one of them... love the little buckles!

Wearing All the White I Can

I guess that old adage about not wearing white after Labor Day isn't considered a rule anymore, but I still find myself feeling like I want to wear all the white I can before the big cut off. I guess I worry that some people might not know that the no-white rule no longer applies and so I still feel weird about wearing white after September (which is bad, because it's one of my favorite colors). Then I realize that I worry too much about what other people think... but now I'm getting off topic. Anyhow, here is my white ensemble, which I will be wearing to the fabric store, the grocery store, and to some other various errands.

The Last Days of Summer

I'm soaking up the last of the summer sun, yet still enjoying the first chance in months to pull out some stockings. I'm going out for lunch and shopping with a dear friend today, then off to yoga class this evening.

Preview of Fall

The weather is already turning cooler here in Midwestopia, and so I have been on the lookout for sweaters and other appropriate clothing as I go thrifting these days. I found this lovely blue sweater, but it was missing some buttons. I thought with a little TLC it could be really pretty again, and so I added some nice pearl buttons... here are the results:
