Retro

I am feeling a little retro today in my fancy 70's esque shirt and owl necklace. I love the colors!

Red, White, and Black

I found these shoes and this shirt yesterday while out thrifting with my friend Becky. I love them so much! Mad shoe love. It's hard to tell in the photo but the heel is actually gold. LOVE it! I think the shoes set off the red buttons on the top so nicely. Perfect for getting my hair cut today - as you can tell I'm in desperate need of a bangs cut!

It was 70 yesterday, I swear

But it's back to dreary, rainy and cold again today. These temperature swings are hard to handle, especially when trying to figure out what to wear!

Stylish or a Sack?

I found this adorable little comfy dress last week and have been looking forward to wearing it. Luckily the weather has continued to stay nice since yesterday, and so I may wear my new treasured find. (I also had to wait until my husband was out of town on business because when I first tried it on for him he said "Nice concept, but it looks like a sack.")

What do you think?

I got my wish!

The sun has arrived! Perhaps my poem from yesterday worked?!

I was feeling a bit wild but also fastidious today, and I think my outfit shows the dichotomy. But I like it. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I wore green in honor of St. Patty's day. And I wrote a little poem about the current weather in my part of midwestopia:

Gloom, gloom, go away,
Don't come back another day.
Rain, Rain, ruining my hair,
I want to wear spring clothes out there!
Grey, Grey, makes me sad,
Come on Sunshine! Make me glad.
